General risks and Responsibility
Customers of www.andaluciacycling.com are booking on an active holiday and there are risks involved with this type of activity. Customers of www.andaluciacycling.com are required to practice common sense, prudence and diligence at all times.
www.andaluciacycling.com does not accept responsibility for death, illness or injury of customers on our holidays. Risks include, but are not limited to: traffic, accidents, illness and weather conditions. www.andaluciacycling.com does not accept responsibility for any claims damages, expenses or financial loss resulting from any inherent risks.
The customer accepts that cycling on the public highway carries its own risks and you have made your booking on the basis that you undertake an active holiday at your own risk. www.andaluciacycling.com requires the wearing of cycle helmets at all times when riding. www.andaluciacycling.com advises that the wearing of cycle helmets on the public highway is enforced by law in Spain and is the customer’s responsibility.
Customers will ride their bicycle responsibly at all times. All routes are followed at the customer’s own risk and www.andaluciacycling.com is not responsible for any change of itinerary incurred by any customer arising out of the act of negligence. www.andaluciacycling.com understands that customers participate in the holiday with no medical conditions that may make the physical activity required in cycling dangerous for them.
Customers also use any transportation provided by www.andaluciacycling.com at their own risk. www.andaluciacycling.com reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary of the tour. www.andaluciacycling.com reserves the right to choose hotels or make adjustments to the itinerary. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour due to circumstances beyond the control of www.andaluciacycling.com.
Customers will not hold www.andaluciacycling.com responsible for any loss, damage or injury including death to persons or property with regard to the use of the bicycle(s) and equipment used. Customers will be held responsible for any damage to the equipment provided to them by www.andaluciacycling.com. You accept responsibility to Indemnify www.andaluciacycling.com against any claim, interest, demand or expense in respect of such injury or damage.
www.andaluciacycling.com is responsible to the customers for all arrangements and for all tour services and accommodations offered.
Health Risks
www.andaluciacycling.com understands that customers participate in the holiday with no medical conditions that may make the physical activity required in cycling dangerous for them. The customers are responsible for ensuring that they are physically fit enough to undertake the cycling of any distance or tour that they have booked. www.andaluciacycling.com does not accept any responsibility for any customers failure to complete their holiday.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are physically fit to cycle whatever distance or course they have booked.
Force Majeure
www.andaluciacycling.com does not accept liability for loss, expenses or damage where the booking needs to be altered or cancelled, or where we are unable to perform any contractual obligations as a result of events of ‘force majeure’.
Force Majeure refers to any event that cannot be reasonably anticipated, or the result could not have been reasonably avoided by www.andaluciacycling.com or contracted suppliers. These events include, but are not limited to, natural or man-made disaster, threat of war, weather conditions, fire, industrial disputes and civil strife.The remaining amount must be paid by six weeks before the start of the tour. Any currency conversion charges should be made at the expense of the customer. Late reservations will be taken if space is available.
Travel insurance
Adequate and valid travel insurance is compulsory for www.andaluciacycling.com customers and it is a condition of accepting your booking that you agree you will have obtained adequate and valid travel insurance for your booking. We recommend you take out insurance as soon as your booking is confirmed. We will ask for proof that you have such insurance before the start of the holiday. Insurance must cover;
cycle touring, mountain biking
accident and rescue cover
health and medical cover
emergency evacuation.
We also recommend insurance for all baggage and cancellation for overseas holidays.

Booking Conditions
Prices
The prices published are in Euros and exclusive of VAT. Generally, any extras or services not detailed on the itinerary are not included. Please contact us if you require verification.
The binding price is EURO. Please check with your bank for exact exchange rates.
A deposit of 50% of the final price is required to confirm the booking and must be paid within a week of submitting the signed reservation form. We will send you a receipt for the deposit, confirmation of your reservation and an invoice for the remainder of the tour.
The tour price is based upon double occupancy and includes the services specified in the itineraries. Prices do not include extra services, meals or optional activities not listed specifically in the itineraries. No entrance fees are included except where explicitly stated in the tour description.
The payment of the deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation on a tour shall constitute consent to all provisions listed under the section “General risks and Responsibility”. These provisions are hereby incorporated by reference in this RESPONSIBILITY notice, and participants are advised to take notice.
Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
Any changes in the holiday must be communicated to www.andaluciacycling.com in writing. This includes any changes to group composition, any extra services or length of the holiday and extensions.
Notice of cancellation must be received in writing. The following charges apply to cancellation of our tours. There is a €50 handling fee for all cancellations.
6 weeks or more before departure – Loss of Deposit
2-5 weeks before departure – 50% of the balance, and the other 50% will remain on account applicable for travel within a calendar year.
1-2 weeks before departure – 100% of the balance
No refunds are possible after the tour begins.
We advise that you ensure that your insurance covers cancellation costs.
www.andaluciacycling.com reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason. If the tour is cancelled, customers will receive a full refund of money paid to www.andaluciacycling.com.
Transfers
Flights / Arrival to Spain
www.andaluciacycling.com does not arrange flights and customers are required to make their own arrangements to get to the starting point of each tour.
Transfers in Tour Description
Customers use any transport provided by www.andaluciacycling.com at their own risk. Transfers will be provided where stated on tours at a time agreed in writing before the tour (usually to coincide with flight arrival). Customers who choose to extend their tour are responsible for transfers to and from the extension destination.
Bicycles
All bicycles and other equipment and materials organised by www.andaluciacycling.com are the responsibility of the customer for the duration of the trip. Any damage or loss of bicycles or equipment is the responsibility of the customer. On these self guided tours, customers are responsible for minor repairs to the bike, for example repairing punctures.
Accommodation
Accomodation is based on double shared rooms. On most tours there is a single supplement for customers wishing to stay in their own room. This is solely to cover the extra cost of the single room. We will try to satisfy all room preferences. We reserve the right to substitute hotels listed in the itinerary with comparable services if necessary. However, on occasion a customer requesting a double room may be provided with a twin room.
Luggage
Please note that your luggage is your responsibility. We cannot take any responsibility for loss, damage or accident which involves property. Please ensure that your travel insurance covers this.
Meals
Breakfast will be provided each day. Please notify us in advance if you have any specific dietary requirements.
Complaints
www.andaluciacycling.com always aims to provide holidays of a high quality, with the customer experience being paramount. We welcome the notification of any problems that may arise either during or after the holiday.
The above conditions and terms of contract and all matters arising therefrom are subject to Spanish Law and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
